Teleingreso

What is it?

Teleingreso is a bank transfer solution that allows consumers to make payments via more than 3,000 ATM machines, 2,000 post offices and 300 retail outlets throughout Spain. All Teleingreso transactions are in Euros and are automatically converted into the merchant’s preferred currency. Domestic customer support via phone and email is also included as part of the service. Teleingreso provides an anonymous solution that is a popular payment method for the un-banked and for those who wish to pay with cash, and because this is a “push” style of payment, it is without the risk of costly chargebacks or returns and the payment is guaranteed to the merchant.

With more than 29 million Internet users (62.2% of the population), Spain ranks 7th in the top 10 of Internet Countries in Europe and has the twelfth largest economy in the world.

How does it work?

When a consumer selects Teleingreso as an online payment method on a merchant’s website, the system automatically generates a unique 9-digit transaction code. The transaction is then pending until the consumer visits any of the locations to make a payment and the information is then instantly provided to the merchant, who then sends out a confirmation email of receipt of funds.
